Award-winning Producer/Writer/Director of documentaries in the news and entertainment industry.  At CBS News supervised 25 editors, producers and technical staff on 9/11.  Produced more than twenty documentaries at NBC News/Peacock Productions, ABC News/Lincoln Square Productions, and various independent production companies for NBC News, ABC News, MSNBC, CNN, Investigation Discovery, History, Oxygen, and Lifetime.  Founded independent film and video production company.  Clients included NBC, WGBH, Wall Street Journal Television, Smithsonian Institution, SmithKline Beecham, Xerox Corporation, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America.  Career highlights include an hour documentary on child poverty for NBC narrated by Maya Angelou, live coverage of the death of John Paul II in Rome, the post-Fukushima investigation of a U.S. nuclear power plant, and a WBGH documentary inspired by the world’s first Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro.

PRODUCER, NBC Peacock Productions, (May 2019-present) Produced an episode of the true-crime documentary series “Relentless with Kate Snow” for Oxygen.

PRODUCER, ABC News/Lincoln Square Productions, (April 2017-April 2019) Series Producer for “20/20 on ID” true-crime documentary series. Producer for “The Secret in Her Eyes” and “Woman in the Suitcase” 2-hour 20/20 specials; “Oscars: Unforgettable Moments” airing on ABC; “Breaking Their Silence: Inside the Gymmastics Scandal” for Lifetime; and “Beyond the Headlines: Menendez Brothers” for Lifetime.

PRODUCER, Zero Point Zero Production, (June 2016-January 2017) Produced 2 episodes of John Walsh’s “The Hunt” for CNN. Victims’ rights advocate and National Center for Missing & Exploited Children spokesperson Walsh details ongoing criminal investigations of fugitives to expand searches outside the U.S.

PRODUCER, NBC Peacock Productions, (May 2012-May 2016) Produce hour documentaries for MSNBC, The History Channel, Investigation Discovery, TLC, The Weather Channel and breaking news specials including the recent Paris attacks, the Clinton Correctional prison outbreak and Everest avalanche disaster. Series: “Caught on Camera”, “Deadline Crime”, “Unraveled”, “Why Planes Crash”, and “Weather Gone Viral”.

PRODUCER, Yahoo! Studios, (January-May 2012) Produced a 10-part series of webisodes about entrepreneurs called “Driven.” First segment recommended by 5,000 people on Facebook one day after going live.

PRODUCER, CBS “The Early Show”, (2003-2012) Produced breaking top news stories and features. Covered the London bombing and the death of Pope John Paul II; produced an investigative series on the safety of a TVA nuclear reactor, Hillary Clinton’s Women of Courage Awards, and a Katie Couric/Harry Smith colon cancer special.

COORDINATING PRODUCER, CBS “The Early Show”, (2001-2002) Supervised staff of 25 at network’s broadcast facility. Responsible for news blocks and successful airing of all tape elements of a daily national two-hour broadcast, including Midwest and West Coast updates.

VICE PRESIDENT/EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, (1998-2001). Headed television production group in New York office of world’s largest independent PR firm. Work included Internet content, broadcast news, and crisis intervention for broad range of Fortune 500 clients including Rorer, Pharmacia, P&G/Aventis, Whitehall-Robins, American Home Products, and Schering-Plough.

SENIOR PRODUCER, Orbis Broadcast Group, (1997-1998). Head of East Coast News Production for leading producer and distributor of medical programming. Clients included Burson-Marsteller, Edelman Public Relations, First Chicago Trust, Fleishman-Hillard, Hill & Knowlton and Ketchum PR Worldwide.

DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER, Time Life Medical, (1996-1997). Produced health education videotape programs. Hosted by Former U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, M.D. and Linda Ellerbee. Cast trainers nationwide and developed low-impact aerobic routines and animation in four one-hour sports medicine workout programs.

PRESIDENT, Java Street Productions, (1988-1996). Headed independent film and video production company. Clients included NBC, WGBH, Wall Street Journal Television, Smithsonian Institution, SmithKline Beecham, Xerox Corporation, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
